From Greensburg:
Follow 119 North through town.  Go through the tunnel to a red light. Sheetz will be on your left.  Continue on 119 North. You will pass Lynch Field on your right. Come to the Stop light at the Hostess Wonder Bread Store.  Continue straight apprx 1 ½ miles. You will pass Dr. Beams office on your left and the Country Farms Nursery on your left.  After passing the Nursery at the top of the hill you will see a sign on your right to HANNA’S TOWN.  The turn is to the LEFT. Go to the four way stop sign, continue straight, go down a little windy hill, over a bridge and continue .9ths of a mile. I am on the Left hand side, look for a Red Barn a Red Log Home and a RED Pole building and a sign OHKOM FARMS TRAINING CENTER Pull down the gravel driveway to the lot in front of the building.

From 22 West:
From Delmont interchange continue east approximately 4 miles. (You will pass a BP station at the red light on your left.)    Look for a sign that says HANNA’S TOWN road.  Turn RIGHT.* This is a windy country road.  Go 2.6 miles and I am your RIGHT. Look for a red pole building and a sign OHKOM FARMS TRAINING CENTER Pull down the gravel driveway to the lot in front of the building.   

From 22 East:
From New Alexander there is a Sheetz on the Left. Continue apprx. 4.5 miles. Look for a sign that says HANNA’S TOWN road. Turn LEFT. Follow above *

From Rt 30 (east or west) 
Can follow Rt 30 to Rt 119 N and follow above directions, from
Greensburg. Or to Hutchinson By Pass to end. Get on 22 east ,follow above directions from 22 west.

Competitive Agility    You must be moved into this class. Course Strategies and handling skills. Saturday when available.  

 Beginner Two Agility This is for the student and dog team to learn handling skills and sequencing.

Beginner One Agility   This is for the new student and dog team to learn basics in equipment and introduce your dog to the sport of agility. All students required to complete one basic obedience class.

Confirmation and Handling Class  Learn the in’s and out’s of the show ring. Learn to compete with the pros and handle your own dog. For all levels. Positive only. $6.00 per class per dog.  
New Puppy Socials
    CLASSES are ON GOING 
Ages 12 -18 weeks. This class is a MUST go to class for all new puppies and their owners.  We will learn proper socialization, name recognition, sit, down, come and off.  Topics of discussion will include potty training, puppy manners, crate training, grooming and leash training, spaying and neutering issues and more. (This course is an original creation by Ohkom Farms. Copy of any materials is prohibited.)  Please see services below for equipment needed.

NOTE: This class is followed by a Puppy Activity and Puppy Plus and both classes are recommended for completion of puppy socialization

 Puppy Activity Class
 Another original class from Ohkom Farms. This activity class has proven extremely successful in the testing stages of your puppy’s development.  We combine this class with Obedience skills that have been started in the Socials class along with introduction to Agility equipment, motivational games and positive and fun interaction with you and your puppy. A class for the whole family to participate in. Five to eight months.  

Puppy Plus     
For puppies 6 months  up to one year. For puppies who have passed their socialization classes and puppy activity, or have been moved into this class.  Continuation of socialization, heeling on lead, recalls with distractions, sit and down stays and more. Please note: New students over 6 months that have not been in our Puppy Socialization Class are required to come in for an Evaluation before being scheduled into a class.

Instructors Choice  
A Class for the dog who wants to do everything, this class is allotted for Instructor to choose the activity (obedience, rally,  open obedience, agility) for the class. This is a pre-advanced to advanced level class. Students will be asked to help with equipment set up and tear down. (No discount allotted) 

Rally Obedience This class will combine your basic obedience skills with handling technique's.  Communicational skills with various obedience exercises.  This class will gear you towards competing , not required, should you choose to test your skills under a judge. Fun and challenging.  

Advanced Obedience  
Skills in this class will be geared toward OPEN obedience exercises.  Your dog must have off lead skills and be able to move on towards retrieving the dumbbell, jumping, down on recall.  Rally exercises for  advanced and excellent . A 15 minute group heeling warm up and then you must be able to work independently, help call off exercises. No additional discounts are allowed. 

 Intermediate Obedience  
Time to ask more from your companion.  We will work on precision of skills already learned. Sit stays, one minute down stays three minutes. Lead up to working some skills off lead. Positive interaction, motivational games between handler and dog are learned. This class may be repeated

Daytime classes and privates are available. Please inquire. Evaluations $30.00/ hour. Privates $25.00, 45 minutes. Semi-Privates $35.00, 45 minutes. OT $5.00/ 15 minutes.

Certificates are awarded to Graduates of:

Puppy Socials. All six classes must be completed. Make up’s are accepted. There is an additional charge for all private make ups of $20.00
Puppy Plus. Seven of the eight classes must be completed.  Sit and down stays for 30 seconds.  Recalls off leash. Must be manageable on leash heeling. There is an additional charge for all private make ups of $20.00.

Basic Privates. For dogs over six months that have not had any training are required to start in private sessions.  A private evaluation to determine handler and dog knowledge level is required.  Specific criteria will be covered in order to move into a class and completed to earn the certificate.

Intermediate. (Judges Worksheet) Specific criteria will be handed out in the beginning of the class. 

Attendance. Completing all classes but not graduating to next level.

Beginner One Agility.  Learn the basic concept of agility and dog must be able to master the basic pieces of equipment.

Day and Night Classes, Privates, Day Camps, Day Training Camps, Boot Camps (2 week live in Camp)
 Private Boarding for Ohkom Farms Students ONLY, Grooming, Handling

All Classes are taught with Positive Reinforcement Methods. You are required to bring your own treats. SOFT treats are preferred. (Cheerio's only in the Puppy Socials Class)

  Reminders of what you will need in this class.  Buckle Collars only. Choke collars are not permitted in the puppy class. A leather leash is preferred and are sold at the Training Center . You may use a light nylon one to start. I will help you with your equipment.  A treat bag, fanny pack, for your treats. All members of the family that are participating must wear one. Cheerios only for Puppy Socialization( Higher classes see recipe below or any soft treats of your choice) Lesson One and Two.  I will provide meat treats during those times if is necessary. Use only cheerios at home as well. Lesson three you may add some meat treats to your cheerios. A simple recipe is to take a hot dog, beef or chicken, cut in half long ways, then long ways again so you have four strips.  Cut those strips in to cubes.  Lay flat on a paper towel and microwave for one minute.  Mix the cheerios and the hot dog in a baggie so the cheerios will absorb the juice. This will help make a smelling tempting treat as we   Most of all dress comfortably, tennis shoes are preferred.
.  All Vaccinations must be updated and Stool Check with negative results. Proof is required. Kennel Cough is recommended. Flea preventive such as Frontline or Advantage is required in the summer months.  I recommend starting in May through November.   Heartworm preventive is recommended, please check with your vet for recommendations for your area.  All dogs to remain on leash unless otherwise instructed. PLEASE clean up after your dog. THANK YOU>
  You will be required to call at least one hour prior to classes if the roads are in climate during the winter months.  Classes will only be cancelled if half the class cancels. I must have time to inform the remaining students.  Please note I do not have a phone at the building but please leave a message if you are in the second set of classes.  Dress warm and comfortable.

RULES:
Please Pick up after your own dog.  
Leashes must be worn at all times outside in the exercise area's.  
I recommend a crate for your dog to travel in or a doggie seat belt.
Bring your own water bowl, such that has a lid on with your dogs name on. 
Water is available if you run out of water.
